Randomness will always have the last word.

The market doesn't care whether you have achieved your goal or not, it will always go its own way, and if you can make a profit on an expected future value basis, you should go for it, Luck is random, but the skill will persist. And don't ever throw it out.

Sunday 20 October 2019

Any sort of debate and discussion let alone an argument and altercation will not have ending, so it is wise and best to stay away from drama, sandiwara, mind games and negativity as much as possible.

Wherever a man goes to dwell, his character goes with him.

Nobody can make you happy until you're happy with yourself.

Wherever a man goes to dwell, his character goes with him.

Some of the shrewd people have better result than average in the nature of things they can read you like a book on the basis of :-

“The two most important forms of intelligence are the ability to read other people and the ability to understand oneself.” — Bruce Pandolfini

When a person tries to hide his feelings he forgots that his eyes speaks.

Most of the time it's written all over his face. On most occasion it's written all over your face.

If you want to get an idea of a friend's temperament, ethics, and personal elegance, you need to look at him under the tests of severe circumstances, not under the regular rosy glow of daily life.

You can easily see and spot it via his kinetic, gesture, gait, facial expression and tone of voice.

Characterize him by hisr actions and you will never be fooled by hisr words.

It is manifested in his speech pattern in a very interesting way.

If you want to know his mind, listen to his words. If you want to know his heart, watch his actions.

Just by the way hs speaks and acts we are able to pick up on the social cues and emotional intelligence that give us certain impressions about him.

A man's conversation is the mirrior of his thoughts. It shows in certain words or phrases.

A person's action will tell us everything we need to know.

The body manifests what the mind harbours.

“Life is a mirror and will reflect back to the thinker what he thinks into it.”

Regular minds find similarities in stories (and situations); finer minds detect differences.

There's no such thing as Doctor Seuss Or Disneyland, and Mother Goose, no nursery rhyme

It is always right frame of your mind, your state of mind and your mindset and with a combination of hard work, enough fanaticism, enough patience and discipline and lots of arse luck some of the shrew people are going to get way better result than average people in the nature of things. There is no magic wand whereby you can wave to get whatsoever crap you want.

Altruism is an illusion

Don't waste our time trying to please and impress people around us. This isn't an excuse to be an inconsiderate jerk, but we must put a high value on our time. Learn to say no to people who don't show interest and respect us.

Helping other people is great but it is better to focus on serving the greatest good than simply appealing to the whims and fancy of our friends and family. Don't waste our energies trying to fit other expectations. Set our own dreams, standards and ambitious and make it our highest priority.

Altruism is an illusion but it's not selfish to love ourselves, take care of ourselves and make our happiness a top priority.

Let's be honest. Different things run in different families/person. Different strokes for different folks.

We come from different background and we must keep in mind that we learn what we live. (GIGO)

We must realise that our likes and dislikes are not necessary shared by others.

Life is full of fake people but before you decide to judge them make sure you're not one of them.

A man interest in the world is only an overflow from his interest in himself.

Sincerity is an openness of heart that is found in very few people. What we usually see is only an artful of disguise people put on to win the confidence of others and they are really interested in order to get what they want (their ulterior motives).

Sensible people have a low opinion of human nature. They know that human beings are vain, selfish, calculative and ungrateful.

Lots of times humans have to parade in which they are not really interested in order to get where they are going.

If a man is to do something more than humans, he must have more than human power. Do think about it and do think rationally, long, deep and very hard about it

We are survivors and we do anything to survive and we tend to have every circumstances to our benefit and having an extremely high opinion of ourselves and driving need to be center of attention.

We do not know what goes on behind closed doors and what goes on behind closed doors isn't always pretty. "Jangan kuatir. Bisa diatur Dong"

"Pride is for the most part the same in everybody — the only difference is in the method and manner of showing it." - Francois duc de La Rochefoucauld

Every man thinks his own thoughts are the best.

Many people are making all sorts of claims/crap regarding anything but does not serves any purposes.

Everyone has their own agenda. Everyone has their own list of stories.

The world is indeed full of peril and in it there are many dark places.

If we are lucky and brought up in a way that empowers us then we would have a better start in life than others and it will benefit us.

The definition of altruism:-

Unselfish concern for the welfare of others; selflessness.

The principle or practice of unselfish concern for or devotion to the welfare of others ( opposed to egoism ).

Altruism is the selfless helping of others. However, biologists, philosophers, sociologists and psychologists have been telling us for some time that there is no such thing as altruism and imply that it is self-interest and not actually the benevolent helping of others. This page looks at the differing underlying selfish reasons why we help others.

Biologists, philosophers, psychologists and sociologists have all held that "altruism" is never what it seems. That all apparently selfless acts are self-centered is known in the sciences as 'universal egoism', which according to the prominent psychologist Richard Gross, "is the dominant ethos in social science including psychology. [...] Sociobiologists consider that acts of apparent altruism turn out to be acts of selfishness in disguise". There is such agreement amongst psychologists and specialists that it seems "altruism is an impossibility".

If altruism is an illusion, merely a label that covers peoples' confusion over why they behave in a good way, then what are the causes of behaviour that seems selfless?

Biologists, sociologists, philosophers and above all, psychologists, have held to the "universal egoism" theory; that all apparent altruism is really selfishness in disguise. Most arguments for altruism are based on ignorance of the underlying reasons for behaving good towards others or are purely semantic in nature, not logical.

People behave altruistically for a number of selfish reasons. We are programmed genetically to behave in a way conducive to the sociability of the species: This unconscious species-instinct is the closest thing we have to true selfless altruism. In nearly every other conscious sense, altruism is an illusion. We behave well because social good behaviour fires off pleasant neurochemicals in our brains (the pleasure reward), because consciously or unconsciously we want others to see us as a good person (the social reward) or to feel good about ourselves (for pride and self-esteem). Altruism is image and illusion.

Richard Dawkins, the great evolutionary biologist, argues that we should educate people about the true nature of altruism. He is the author of "The Selfish Gene", and says that when we understand our motives better, we are better equipped to behave well, and overcome the ethnically-biased altruism that we are born with.

Bottom line - Conclusion

All the world's a stage

Most jobs and activities require playing politics.

Even if you put in one hundred percent effort in anything and everything you do, it says something about the fact that society has something to do with your fate and not just your innate qualities.

Most jobs and activities require playing politics, kissing arses, licking boots, carrying golden balls, having a formation of cliques and you must be in the correct camp or someone gets promoted ahead of you for any number of reasons that have nothing to do with merits.

Conspiracy theory too plays a very important role here.

You must have Godfathers and be someone blue-eyed boy in the inside.

From the outside looking in, it's hard to understand. From the inside looking out, it's hard to explain, And what goes on behind closed doors isn't always pretty.

Which nobody can deny, which nobody can deny, which nobody can deny. And so say all of us!

Reciprocity

Relationships between human beings, societies or institutions are based on exchange in which all parties have a mutual understanding of their rights and obligations.

Reciprocity involves in mutual exchange of gifts, products, services, favours, kindness, money and other types of obligations.

Relations between members of an immediate family or between spouses are based on obligations such as obedience or respect.

Relations can be forged through gifts or personal favors and bring with them obligations and expectations. For every action, something is expected in return.

Those who do favors are highly esteemed; they are recognized as people who have respect for those around them. Every previous or current situation produces expectations for future behavior on the part of the giver and gift recipient."

Almost all our relationship begin and most of them continue as forms of mutual exploitation, a mental or physical barter, to be terminated when one or both parties run out of goods.

Half a league, half a league, Half a league onward, All in the valley of Death Rode the six hundred. “Forward, the Light Brigade! Charge for the guns!” he said. Into the valley of Death Rode the six hundred.

Mind games to right of them, Mind games left of them, Mind games in front of them Volleyed and thundered; Stormed at with shot and shell, Boldly they rode and well, Into the jaws of Death, Into the mouth of hell Rode the six hundred.

Re: Every new day is a new chapter of life

Yes indeed my dearest mates every new day is a new chapter of life because on some days we live in anger, fear, sorrow, pain, discomfort, or uncertainty and on other days we are most happy.

Indeed, indeed, indeed, yes indeed my fellow Sing mates “There is no security on this earth, only opportunity”. It is right frame of your mind, your state of mind and your mindset. There is no magic wand whereby you can wave to get a good day or for your success, no Holy Grail, no such thing as Doctor Seuss Or Disneyland, and Mother Goose, no nursery rhyme, and there's no such thing as make-believe Puppy dogs, autumn leaves 'n' BB guns.

The bottom line is that the only time you get your security is via fate, lot, chance, fortune, Lady Luck, Law of Average and Randomness. (Or "Who knows you" and not you know who or who you know) - ROFLMAO)

Yes indeed my dear friends. Not unless you are a goblok, immature, shiok sendiri, kuning, Off spec, having jaundice, a dope, clueless, simpleton, gullible, numbskull, nincompoop, moron, jackass, pea-brain, birdbrain, intoxicated, hallucinated, senile, brain-dead, a biggest idiot or you have yet to recover from your hangover, including the highly educated and well educated especially the over-educated but without commonsense and wisdom.

Before you argue with someone, ask yourself, is that person even mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of different perspectives?

It is more necessary/vital to study men than books. By the same token it is then easily to read them like a book.

    Wednesday 20 March 2019

Lots of us have a bad habit of wearing our hearts on our sleeves. This can make us an open book even to strangers. We definitely don’t want that – mystery is the spice of life, after all. Keeping a clear distinction between your personal life and your professional life is a difficult (but very important) skill to master. You have to be very picky who you share your secrets with, because, unfortunately, not everyone has good intentions.

Importantly, you need to be careful to make sure that the details of your personal life can’t be used to hurt you. It’s useful to have a basic list of certain personal information you should never share with others especially in the social media.

By the same token on the other hand if you feel that you have got plenty to shout about on anything and everything then it's Hobson's choice then by all means go ahead and I for one encourage you to do so and do ensure to make that a habit. - ROFLMAO

IMHO only the following blokes will do such a folly things :-

A goblok, the immature, the shiok sendiri, the kuning (Off spec and/or jaundice), a dope, clueless, simpleton, gullible, intoxicated, hallucinated, senile, brain-dead or a biggest idiot including the/that highly educated and well educated but/and without commonsense and wisdom.

Yes indeed Gentlemen (ladies as well) good luck to you.

    Saturday 2 March 2019

Think about it and do think rationally, long and very hard about it that would it be possible to make a living at the track trying to bet each and every race and all the simulcast races because you thought/think you could accurately handicap them all or by using a racing publication that purported to do so.

    Saturday 2 February 2019

    Zero-Sum Game

Horse Racing, poker and gambling are popular examples of zero-sum games since the sum of the amounts won by some players equals the combined losses of the others. In game theory, the game of “Matching Pennies” is often cited as an example of a zero-sum game. ... This is a zero-sum game because one player's gain is the other's loss.

Zero-sum is a situation in game theory in which one person's gain is equivalent to another's loss, so the net change in wealth or benefit is zero. A zero-sum game may have as few as two players, or millions of participants. Zero-sum games are found in game theory, but are less common than non-zero sum games.

In contrast, non-zero-sum describes a situation in which the interacting parties' aggregate gains and losses can be less than or more than zero. A zero-sum game is also called a strictly competitive game while non-zero-sum games can be either competitive or non-competitive.

Only Goblok will embark on this game. (Yes indeed I am too (indeed a biggest Goblok) - And I sincerely hope that you're not ! - ROFLMAO)

It is right frame of your mind, your state of mind and your mindset. There is no magic wand whereby you can wave to get your winners or for your success, no Holy Grail, no such thing as Doctor Seuss Or Disneyland, and Mother Goose, no nursery rhyme, and there's no such thing as make-believe Puppy dogs, autumn leaves 'n' BB guns.

Yes indeed my dear friends. Not unless you are a goblok, shiok sendiri, kuning (jaundice), a dope, clueless, simpleton, gullible, intoxicated, hallucinated, senile, brain-dead or a biggest idiot including the highly educated and well educated but without wisdom.
